What Is a Host Agency?
A host agency lets independent travel advisors sell travel under its accreditations, supplier partner relationships, and commission agreements, while you run your own business. WorldVia Travel Network adds education, business tools, and a team behind you.
How Do I Become a Travel Advisor From Home?
Join a host agency, learn the fundamentals, set up your business, and start with people who already know you. Members learn in WorldVia Academy and get guided through setup from day one.
Do I Need Travel-Industry Experience?
No. New advisors join every month. WorldVia Academy, live weekly classes, and Foundations (included with the Growth, Team, and Enterprise plans) are built to teach you to sell travel from the start, and Member Success is there for the questions that come up along the way.
How Much Does It Cost to Start?
Plans start at $9 a month plus a one-time $99 activation fee. Compare every plan in the Membership Plans section, or ask our Membership Team which one fits where you are starting.
What Is Foundations?
Foundations is a 12-week New Advisor Orientation and Group Coaching Program, included with Growth, Team, and Enterprise (a $997 value). You learn alongside other new advisors with a coach guiding each step.
Do I Need an LLC to Join?
The Individual plan does not require a business entity. Growth, Team, and Enterprise require a registered entity, such as an LLC or S-Corp, and an EIN. The Membership Team can walk you through what you need.
Is Errors and Omissions Insurance Included?
Yes. Members are covered by a $2 million group errors and omissions (E&O) policy with a $5,000 deductible.
Do I Have to Recruit Other Advisors?
No. You earn commissions from the travel you sell. Recruiting advisors is not a condition of membership or a requirement to earn.
Does Membership Guarantee Clients or Income?
No. You are building an independent business. Membership gives you education, tools, supplier partners, and support; your results depend on your work and other factors. Our Membership Team would be happy to talk through this with you.
